TO THE GYM!
Enjoying my first blessed Saturday of break, I was sitting at my computer scrolling through Deviantart portraits when suddenly, a thought broke into my mind like glass shattering from a window: I wish I were a beautiful Asian! (This smashing thought was inspired by a photograph of a beautiful Asian, who had dressed up as a ninja for Halloween.) Then I realized, wait, I'm already Asian! THIS DREAM IS POSSIBLE! *giggles* To the gym!

Sam: Glee is Over
Currently Listening to: 'Golden Slumbers' by the Beatles
It is a dark dawn indeed.
Glee will not be back on until April.
APRIL! HEAVEN FORBID!
Stupid American Idol, taking place of this sacred show of the gods.
We will mourn in silence.
Until that special day.

Catherine is a GLEEK.
Blogging right now because I desperately am trying to avoid studying for Spanish. Just thought I should tell the world that I am a total GLEEK! I've watched all 10 episodes this Friday and Saturday. That can't be conducive to good health but I couldn't help it! I am so excited for Wednesday. Glee has become my favorite show, better than Psych, Monk, and House COMBINED! That's really saying something, isn't it? I feel like going through all the characters and commentating because the more I can avoid Spanish, the better!
Mr. Shuester: Wow, I wish I had a teacher like him xD He knows how to bust a move!
Mr. Shuester's wife Teri: Ugh...just ugh. I can't believe he got married to her even if they were highschool sweethearts. She doesn't even appreciate him and they have nothing in common!
Emma Pilsbury: I used to not like Emma (I started watching from the 10th episode, 9, 8, 6, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) but I really liked her in those first few episodes (don't ask why I was watching it that way xD) I loved it when she was in her car, in the rain, with her mascara streaming singing along to Foreignor's, "I wanna know what love is." That was classic!
Mercedes: I love Mercedes, talk about chocolate! Haha.
Artie: Oh my gosh, Artie is like the nerdy but badass guitar player. But he should stop tucking his sweater into his pants xD Oh Artie.
Quinn: I think Quinn is my least favorite character, because of the decisions she makes. The decision to ignore Puck, even though he is the father of their child and he has a right to stay in the child's life. He is even trying to support their baby! While poor Finn, he is so confused and lost, he does not deserve to think he is the father of a baby when he is really not. Quinn has to stop lying...she is also the stereotypical mean cheerleader that I will not feel sorry for...she is very pretty however, haha.
Rachel: My opinion of Rachel fluctuates...often. Sometimes she reminds me of myself, but hopefully I don't talk THAT much.
Finn: Finn is a cutie pie, he really is. He is so confused and lost, lol. Aw Finn. Hang in there.
Puck: I think Puck would be good for Quinn, because he WILL provide for his family, no matter what. He doesn't want to be like his dad. The mohawk was a nice touch on the actor...nothing more to say about Puck because he's the kind of guy that breaks good girls' hearts! Haha.
Kurt: Of course I saved the best for last. Kurt is my absolute favorite. I am pretty much in love with him right now. He is a qt all right. And he really does have an amazing fashion sense. He has that "I'm better than you" superiority complex when he's facing those jerkward jocks, but he really is as insecure as the rest of us deep down inside. And his rendition of "Defying Gravity"? I had tears in my eyes...really. His character is just such a sweetheart, and so selfless...okay I'll stop gushing about Kurt now...because really I'd better study for Spanish! xD

Cattie's Learning
I decided to pick up German on the side of my Spanish, Korean, and Japanese. I want to travel a lot during my life so I decided German would be an asset. I want to travel during my summers of college especially. In my first summer, it will be Australia. I want to waitress there. I think everyone should be in the service industry at some point in their life, for some reason or another. I first thought of this when I was in Chili's and our waiter was Australian. I guess that's a pretty random reason to want to go to Australia and be a waitress, but in my mind, it translates perfectly. After that I shall have to go to Canada to visit my beloved Michelle (ich icky dich). After that who knows? I want to take a roadtrip across Europe like they did in that movie Eurotrip. It's actually a really kickass movie Sarah Garcia we should rent it and see it together one day :D Anyways it's 11:34 and I'm vainly attempting to avoid AP Art History homework, which I guess I can't avoid any longer since it's just freaking studying -- I give up on doing the stupid homework xD So I guess I better get to doing the reading at least. Ugh. I'm rambling because I don't want to do it xD
I think I'm going to do something drastic soon, to myself. What is it? Abwarten und tee trinken.

Sam's Felt
Currently listening to: KRIS ALLEN :D
Currently anticipating: GLEE!! It's finally back :)
So, I bought felt on this fine and rainy holiday off of school! Finally. I am sure the people on my waiting list are QUITE happy with that. I made a colour palette for people to tell me what colours they want the doll to be :P I don't want to make it certain colours only to find out that they don't want those colours Dx
Anyway. This week was very good. I am satisfied with it. It's November! Which can only mean one thing. Thanksgiving? No. Dane Cook. YES. My sister just saw him last week for her wedding anniversary. Apparently it was great, so I am über excited to go myself (:
I GOT MY DOUG WALKER AUTOGRAPH. What a joyous time this is for me! I had just recently order Kris Allen's autograph as well :) What a wonderful year this is turning out to be! In a materialistic sense, at least.
Well, that's all for now. Good night :D

Farmville Fun xD
"I adopted a cat on FarmVille!"
"Awwww, you adopted a cat? :D"
"Yeah...I'm not supposed to be feeding it, right."
"No."
"OH SWEET JESUS THANK GOD."
I'm new to FarmVille, give me a break! :p Good thing I have a veteran like Taylor to help me :D Her farm is intimidating!

Hello! It has also been a while since I have blogged. I don't mean to say things haven't been going on, because they have, but not things I particularly want to blog about. I suppose there is still nothing to really blog about, except that I have undertaken several endeavors at the moment. Foremost among them that I am learning several languages at the moment. I am required to take Spanish at school, but I have decided recently that I am going to stick with it all 4 years. Also, I am going to brush up on my Korean, and I am currently learning German from a good friend. I am happiest when I am busy, although it only counts if I am busy doing things I enjoy. I enjoy learning, therefore I am content. I think Mrs. Chappel would say that it is a false analogy, but there is no need to go into terminology.
Stay happy, be healthy.

S-s-s-sam.
Wow, it's been a while.
It's not that I forgot about the blog or anything, I mean I check it often.
It's just...there hasn't been that much to say.
Well, that's a lie, just not much I wanted to say.
Real into Pokémon lately. It's incredibly addicting. Like meth. Only...sorta healthier.
The parents ditched me again, but I'm not complaining.
It's nice being alone sometimes.
Gives me time to catch up on ol' me time.
Something I haven't done since the last time my parents left less than a month ago.
Hm.
My Bellsprout sucks. It can't battle for shit. But hey, train, train train.
Look at me. Talking about Pokémon. How lame.
Wow, Bellsprout, are you that stupid?
C'mon, it's asleep and you still haven't hit it once!
Well finally.
Screw it, I'm using my Ivysaur.
So...what's new with life?
Well... Not much.
Halloween's coming up, so that's pretty exciting.
I'm still curious of what Catherine is going to be, but I suppose I'll have to wait :)
Well, adios mi amigas.

Neugghhhh, fucky as shit night so I gotta blog about it obviously.
Is it weird that the number of dead people I like far admire the number of living people I tolerate? No, it is not weird, and that was a rhetorical question because I don't fucking care about anyone's opinion, at least right now. I hate how people sometimes assume that I have time to talk to them, or WANT to talk to them. So unless you are Sarah fucking Garcia or Elizabeth Nguyen, start your fucking conversations with "Hey, how are you?" and find out if I'm in the mood to be around you.
The number of people I like are RAPIDLY dwindling. I hate how everyone just assumes that I like people. Well, I sometimes don't like people, and I definitely dislike a certain amount of people.
People! It's just common courtesy to begin conversations by asking how the other person is. So DO IT. Unless you are Sarah FUCKEN Garcia or Elizabeth Nguyen, have the damn courtesy to show me this small respect, otherwise from this day forth, you will probably piss me the fuck off.
I don't care who nuckin' fut reads this!
Love, Catherine

Sniff sniff! My glasses are, to use AnJie's word, 'warped'. I stepped on them - stupid :(
On the other hand, I HAVE A NEW PRINTER! :D I'm so excited. The stress and guilt of asking my friends to print out my essays and homework papers are gone forever! :) Well, until this new printer breaks xD *knocks on wood* I have to wait until my technologically advanced friend comes online to walk me through setting it up xD
Hungry :(

Seriously
I [seriously] need to learn how to express my anger in a healthy way. Because thus far, going "FML FML FML FML FML!" doesn't really make me feel better, and writing disturbing poetry doesn't really help either. Damn! Will need to meditate further on this. And damn me being technologically cursed. Why does all the technological issues gravitate towards me? What the fuck is wrong with me? I'm a fucking magnet for technological malfunctions. FML, FML, FML. See, it doesn't make me feel better.

Bang Bang, Maxwell's Silver Hammer...
Sarah got me all pumped up for my birthday tomorrow! Haha. I think it's the first time I ever really 'celebrated' my birthday at school to be honest. Friends kind of come and go...year by year, they tend to switch out while new ones come in, because of classes, new interests, etc. But I feel as if Sarah and Shannon will always be close to me, if only because we survived through high school angst together. Well, we didn't survive yet. But I'm sure we will. Because weeeee're...survivors!
For some reason, Mrs. Sutter started singing, "I'm a material girl in a material world!" in class xD

She's not a girl who misses much.
I am not sure why I've been so paranoid lately.
I feel as if everybody is out to get me.
Why?
I'm sorry if it's bothering anybody.
I am not sure what is causing this.
I love the new default image, I was thinking we needed a new one to match.
Nice choice.
I'm off.
-Sam
P.S. I love my parents and constantly think about how I'd rather die then live through seeing one of them die.

America ♥'s Angst
It's getting harder and harder to be nice to my parents. Never mind nice, I'm struggling to stay civil in their faces. Sometimes they ask stupid questions, or betray their ignorance about my life - my dad doesn't know how old I am, but I guess dads don't really keep track of that. I guess that's a mom's job. But through never being there for me, they gave up their right to have a say in the things I choose to do, the things I write, the music I listen to, who I talk to, etc, etc, etc. Don't get me wrong, if they died right here and now, I'd miss them. But sometimes I wonder if anyone truly likes their parents. Is that genetically possible? Shannon and I don't think so.
Angst! WE LOVE ANGST!
On the plus side, loving the blog's new look! Like our new purple default picture?

Ash
I won't be able to dress up as Ariadne for Halloween. This is because Halloween falls on a Saturday, therefor our school surely will not have a Halloween Dress-Up day. It is rather sad, as I was beginning to hope for it. I was even planning on borrowing someone's curling iron and waking up real early to use it, and buying blue contact lenses so I would look more like a traditional Greek, and maybe even gold armbands and a circlet.
Like all other dreams, it is now ashes.

Ass-beating
I just realized I'll never have to beat anyone's ass.
Sarah, Brittany, AnJelica, and Treat can take care of themselves; Shannon's too nice to ever get anyone mad at her; and Kylie hates confrontation and wouldn't want me to get violent.
Therefor, I will never have to beat anyone's ass for doing shit to my friends.
But of course, if anyone wants to beat someone's ass I will try.
'Cept I'm not very good at ass beating so it will have to be with a butcher knife.
...[awkward silence]

Conspiracy Theory
I have been taking the consensus of several people this week, and everyone is largely in agreement that this week has gone by absurdly slowly. A poll of 10 random people were tested, and when asked, "Is it just me, or has this week gone by really slowly?" 10 out of 10 eagerly responded, "Yes! It's fck'n nuts!" (No, that was not their exact words, but I assure you the gist was the same).
There is only one theory behind it. It is quite simple when broken down and I am surprised that no one has brought it to light before. The obvious answer to why this week has been passing by so slowly is obvious:
Someone was either sucked into or voluntarily climbed into the swirling vortex of insanity, therefor causing the time/space continuum to collapse. Thus, we humble citizens are feeling the after-effects of this pause in the "space between spaces", to quote a movie that I do not remember at the moment.
Thankfully, the morrow signifies Friday, the end of this ridiculously long work week. I must say that I will enjoy my weekend of frolic and debauchery, beginning with an airing of "Troy" Friday afternoon.
That is all.
Live long and prosper.

Quiz [Kit]
I just took one of the coolest quizzes ever! :)
I recommend you take it too.
It's called the "Love Test" - yes, I know it is corny.
But I was quite pleased with my results.
I believe they are true.
So, here's the link:
http://apps.facebook.com/lv_test/index.php
TAKE THE QUIZ BEFORE YOU READ MY ANSWERS!
Otherwise you will utterly spoil it!
My Answers:
Dear Catherine Chou, below are your love test result:
1. The road represents your attitude towards falling in love. You chose the short road. You fall in love quickly and easily.
2. The number of red roses represents how much you give in a relationship, while the number of white represents what you expect in return. You give 100% and expect 0% in return.
3. This question represents your attitude towards handling relationship problems. You asked the family member to get your significant other. You like to avoid problems and hope that they will solve themselves.
4. The placement of the roses determines how much you like seeing your boy/girlfriend. You place the roses by the windowsill. You are alright with not seeing him/her so often.
5. This represents your attitude towards his/her personality. You prefer the person to be asleep, you love the person the way s/he is.
6. The road to home tells how long you stay in love with someone. You chose the longer road. You will tend to stay in love for a long time.

Alter egos [Cattie]
Memo to Sam:
I love you. You're the best friend I've ever had and I don't want to ever have to live without you.
Memo to Shay:
I love you too, and don't beat yourself up over AP Art History! Sometimes you try as hard as you can and you fall short - it happens. Cheer up!
Memo to Lee:
I love you too, too, and don't let your problems with that one person get in the way of your life. You are far better than that. Rise above it and conquer.
Memo to Angel:
You are the sister of my heart and life without you is not worth living.
Memo to Michelle, who does not have an 'alter ego', so I shall go by her nickname Chelle:
I love you way more than you will ever know.

Fly free, bunny! [Cattie]
The plot bunny has hopped on home! :D To its Fate it went, uncaring that the world is cold and perilous for the likes of a plot bunny...free he is, to nibble on the sweet, sweet grass and enjoy being alive!

What can I do with you, my precioussss?

Shy bunny [Cattie]
Man, my Muse hates me!
This shy little plotbunny has been jumping, jumping, jumping around in my head but it refuses to come out and embrace the sweet-smelling air. Shy little buggar! I think it's also a perfectionist, just like Shannon, and refuses to go out into the world until it is groomed to perfection.
* In case you are unaware, a 'plotbunny' is what writers frequently refer to their ideas as. In this case, this plotbunny has been moodily sulking in my head for the past 3 or 4 days, and I am the point of decapitating its fluffy little tail.
JUMP, P-BUNNY, JUMP, leave the nest!

And there was no title. [Saz]
I haven't been keeping up with the blog much. Homework and work are keeping me distracted. Been feeling sort of depressed lately. But I'm not going to go into that much.
Classes are fine. Going to finish up my homework and try to get to bed early so that I'm not so tired in the morning. My insomnia doesn't help.
Bye.

1:30pm ~ Re-commence writing, reading, studying, reviewing, critical thinking, re-reading, reviewing, and homework.
5pm ~ Lunch: a granola bar and a piece of fruit (either raspberries, watermelon, apple, banana, or peach. A dried fruit packet may suffice as replacement for actual fruit.)
7pm ~ Dinner - varies.
8pm ~ Leisure time
9:30pm ~ Review the day's homework, especially if there is a test or a quiz on the coming day.
10pm ~ Prepare for bed
10:25pm ~ Meditate on productivity and the coming day
11pm ~ Sleep
Disallowed delicacies: Chips, candy, soda, cookies, cake, brownies, muffins, cupcakes, whipped cream, frosting, sprinkles, and overly excessive sugars.
Treats: Frozen fruit bars (made from natural fruit), and a few pieces of chocolate per month (decadence never hurt anyone in moderation).
As you can tell from the above narrative, I have changed the order of my life. I will follow the ways of discipline. The principles of which I live by are truth, honor, self-control, compassion, and intelligence.
I behave as I always have - but with my attributes highlighted. No longer will I be loud, crack inappropriate jokes, burst out into manic laughter, and be, as you might say, "a ditz". No longer will I bring down the level of my intelligence in order to make my peers feel comfortable around me. I shall be controlled, disciplined, and above all, I shall listen more, speak less. This is the way to the path of maturity, after all.
Fear not, I am the very same me - you will experience this yourself come Monday morn. Nothing will have changed.
I remain yours,
Catherine

Argh! - Cattie
Argh! I am getting so distracted. I have an Algebra quiz and an AP Art History quiz tomorrow and I can't focus! Plus I don't have my Spanish book and I have a Spanish quiz tomorrow. Oh, apricot.
The reason for my dis...focus is...Star Wars! *hums theme song* Plus, I have this story idea boiling in my head and I'm just DYING to write it, obviously, but I can't, not until the weekend. I just hope the idea STAYS ALIVE!
Damn, now I have to go make some more Algebra graphs.
Apricot.

C.C - Is it just me?
Is it just me, or does it feel like there's nothing to do on the Internet anymore?
No one ever seems to be on MSN or Facebook or any other website.
There are no good quizzes to take or anything else that is fun.
It's just been a very dull two days.
This is probably just because I fail as a daughter.
Well, time to read FML Posts to make me feel better!

Cattie - America rocks.
and so does the USA.
This is for all the lonely people...
thinking that life has passed them by.
This is for all the single people...
Thinking that love has left them dry.
Don't give up until you drink from that silver cup
and ride that highway in the sky.
Don't give up until you try.
Oh God, a timeless classic. I totally forgot about this song until I used the Genius tool in iTunes. I have this CD buried somewhere, I just know. This song is PURE gold. I can dance to it anyday :D

Saz hasn't posted in a while
Sorry, man. I haven't 'blogged' in a while. School and shiz.
SCHOOL IS FUN :B
Looking forward to speech. YAY SPEECH.
Sorry for the over-excitement, Cattay, but this will look good when I audition for something, ya know? It's nice to get an early jump in my future career...well, future dream career, anyways.
Anyways, I have to go write about myself now.
LATER!

Cattie and Sazzie are rockin'
I can't believe we found our Speech piece already :P It's all because of Sazzie and her enthusiasm in signing up early xD! Club Week's not for another...month or so! Lol, I love her enthusiasm. And I also love how I was doing this for a whole year before she found out what you did in Speech :P
Sazzie, I keep forgetting to give you your present, please remind me when we're both online again :(

I had the TRIPPIEST dream last night! I'm not going to bother getting into it because it absolutely doesn't make sense in any way, nor will I sound coherent whilst trying to explain it. The only thing I can tell you is, it involved a skunk by the name of Eric Bana.
xD I don't know if Eric Bana was the skunk, or if that was just the skunk's name, but that sure was one trippy dream. Skunks are pretty darn adorable, you know. So adorable, that I had to look them up in Wikipedia, and yep - illegal in most states, including Hawaii xD We don't even have skunks here :P
What's not to love about a skunk? They're gentle, intelligent, and fluffy :3 Plus, you can get them, ah, "de-skunked", and remove their odor glands :P Yes, I gave having a pet skunk some serious thought xD General ruling? No, but they are darn adorable.

Yeahhh, boy!

I was terribly disappointed at the ending of "500 Days of Summer". It specifically said, "this is a story of boy meets girl." That's the obvious liner to a chick-flick, right? No. He loved her with all his heart, and she played him. Badly. This is a story of love at first sight, with all the right components that make love, but not with the right person. Tom got played. I think the movie played on a lot of the insecurities that many people have - falling in love with the wrong person. Well done, "500". Other than the ending, the movie rocked xD I just have to forget the ending and pretend Summer came around and professed her love to Tom, and they lived happily ever after.
The End.
The End.

Cattie - the elixir of summer
Now that the precious summer days are numbered, I find myself drinking in the sweet elixir of freedom, savoring every last dollop of summer :D I have plans to see "500 Days of Summer" and go shopping asap (possibly with Shannon :D)
I also must say, I am looking forward to going back to Speech. Especially with Sarah. *resists urge to flutter hands and grin like an idiot* I can't wait for her to meet Miranda and Jessica and everyone at UH Lab, who made Speech so fun for me last year :D Plus it's really cool that I get to see Sarah in a different light than I usually see her.
That said, I have decided to undergo the ambitious task of being double-entered; I really want to do something with Sarah, but I'm also committed to writing an original oratory piece that really means a lot to me. It will be a lot of extra work, but hey - I did say I would be REALLY committed to school this year :)
Well, my dad will be home with the Zippy's spaghetti soon, and then we might go to Kahala to see GI Joe :D Toodles for now.

Cattie's eternal grief
is that she's too shy to ever take a risk ;-;
because really, what is there to fear in another person?
Sure they can utterly reject you, but at least you tried?
And after all, everyone gets rejected in life. It HAS to happen.
Except really, I would prefer it not to happen in this department of life.
therefor i am condemned to sorrow for the rest of my days ;-;

Saz's Week
This week was pretty awful.
Even though it's my birthday week.
Hopefully things will turn around by Wednesday (:
I'm sure they will.
Anyway, my grandpa's in the hospital again.
My mum left today to go be with my grandma who has no idea what's going on no matter how many times we tell her.
Freddy, my eldest cat, just scratched me (but to his defense, he was aiming for my kitten xD)
My female rabbit Murphy just died today of unknown causes.
On the up side, I spent 6 hours making a Snape doll!
YAY SNAPE!

HOLY FUCK! - Cattie
HOLY FUCK!!!!! As a believer in the Zodiac, I have always been confused when some sites listed my birthday as Virgo, while others listed me as Libra. Today, my friend found out that I was born on a CUSP - literally "a boundary between zodiac signs and houses". EVERY SINGLE 23rd of a month (like, 23rd of January, 23rd of February, 23rd of September) is a CUSP. So I was born on a cusp! Which means I embody both Virgo and Libra qualities, except I lean towards the Libra qualities more because I was born later in the month rather than in the beginning of the month. What a great discovery :p

Cattie - technology issues
My printer works now. It used to not print red. Now it does. But the levels for magenta, cyan, and yellow (basically, the color ink) is all extremely low. I am not sure why this is, because I have never used it. This makes me slightly angry, because the ink was very expensive and hard to find because I have an old printer. I know I have more colored ink somewhere but I cannot find it. That also makes me angry because it was very expensive. I believe the levels are low because my ink cartridges were leaking, as we found ink stains inside the printer.
And Sarah, ye wonder why I don't like technology :P
And Sarah, ye wonder why I don't like technology :P
Cattie - ancient Greeks
You do not want to be an ancient Greek xD Life was ravished with tragedy, particularly if you are cursed by one of the gods. And yes, the gods often curse various people, for various reasons. Also, if you were an ancient Greek female, and you had a pulse, you were probably raped by Zeus. And if you were in a relationship, well, then you're really fucked xD Let's go over just a few of the couples in ancient Greek times...
Orpheus and Eurydice
After Eurydice died on their wedding day, Orpheus had the chance of a lifetime to bring her back to life, but in typical male fashion, blew it. Then he got ripped apart by dogs. Or drunken women. There are different versions.
Baucis and Philemon
They asked the gods to die together, and instead, the gods turned them into two trees that grew from the same trunk. Nice. Trees. Yup.
Pyramus and Thisbe
Remember Romeo and Juliet? This is them. Greek versions. Except their blood turned into mulberries. Yum!
Now, if you were a Greek hero, there is a ray of light for you. Here are some of the wonderful things heroes did.
Theseus
Forgot to hoist a white sail instead of a black sail as he was returning from victory, so his dad thought Theseus was dead and threw himself off a cliff. W2G! He also ditched his wife.
Hercules
Cursed by Hera, she drove him to kill his wife and two daughters, and then he burns himself to death. And no, not out of grief. He came to death instead of death coming for him, the ultimate show of cockiness.
Jason
After he convinced Medea to betray her father, betray her country, steal the Golden Fleece, and kill her own brother, Jason ditched her for a princess, despite the fact he had two kids by her. Nice dad!
And when you died, the Greek afterlife is called the Fields of Asphodel. Picture a wheat field in Kansas. That goes on. And on. And on. Forever. You just sit there. Forever. In the dark. Forever.
The reason this blog is really long is that it's 12:44am, and I have nothing else to do xD

Saz - School's a comin'.
So school is coming up in... three weeks. I am both excited and nervous, considering I still have to finish my summer reading project. I'm not too worried about it though, I have one book down and this one is really getting me into it or whatever. So, hopefully I will finish that up soon. The other book's assignment was lucky. We have to find important points or quotes and stuff, and I have my dad's old book which is underlined. Lucky indeed.
Starting fresh is a good feeling. I have a new bag, all of my books for the school year, a new binder with ONE single sheet of my many obsessions, and a new attitude. I am going to improve myself not only scholastically and physically, but socially as well. Hopefully, I won't change too much. (:

Bah humbug.
Cruel and Unusual Punishment
AKA
Summer Reading Homework
The book we have to read, "Mythology", by Edith Hamilton, may just be the most boring collection of Greek Myths in the history of time. These stories are supposed to be ravishing tales of heroes, tragedies, and the ever-philandering womanizer Lord Zeus: yet she has somehow managed to transform the most exciting Greek Myths into the most boring collection of words my eyes have ever had the misfortune to lay upon.
Greek Mythology has long since been one of my most revered and favored topics. I have read the original "The Iliad" and "The Odyssey" by Homer. Those great tomes hold far more appeal than the small, tiny print in this boring novel.
Bah humbug to you, Edith Hamilton. Bah humbug to you.
- Cattie
(I feel the bad karma being generated. Yet I am not at a fault for expressing my utmost opinions. The font in this book is small. Small, and bold. Small, bold, and smudgy. It smudges on my fingers. Oh, the smudge.)

Sazzie Day - by Cattie
"I THOUGHT YOU SAID I WASN'T SEXY ENOUGH FOR YOUR GERMS! AND NOW LOOK! I'M BLOODY SICK!"
Ha, that made my fucken' day xD
I ran into Emily, Saz, and Shannon today when I was at the mall with AnJie! :D How exciting! And I managed to abstain from spending money the entire day. Except I paid $40 for lunch xD I'm trying to...what's the word? Prioritize? Minimize? Ohh, economize!
Well, then I bought a book. But it's educational.
Ha, this other line made my day too xD
"This is worse than the time you got the flu standing in front of the grocery store freezer because the orange juice carton said 'Concentrate'."

Saz likes the name Saz
I'm really diggin' the name Saz. And might I add, when I read you calling me "Sarah-poo" I lawled.
I finally sent out the invitations to my partay! This is going to be quite a small party, lol. We will do so many fun things...maybe. Unless I am the only one having fun and everyone else wants to leave! *spasm* Anyway, Shannon doesn't like pizza apparently, but if I don't get other food I'll MAKE HER EAT IT :K hahaaha jk.
This summer has been quite fun. I've mostly spent it watching Degrassi and iCarly. Speaking of Degrassi, I entered this contest thing to be on it. Whenever I told people they're just like, "Isn't that in Canada?" WELL YESSS, IT IS. AND IDGAF BECAUSE I LOVE THAT SHOW. And acting. Hm.
I actually am getting far in my summer reading! I finished one book last night (yeah, I know, it's late) because my dad said if I finished it by this weekend he would take me to see Public Enemies. SCORE.
The day before my birthday I will probably go out to dinner/lunch with my family at...Hard Rock Cafe. And no, it's not just because the Beatles are all over the wall AND OH MY GOD WHY DOES DEMI LOVATO HAVE A NEW CD? SHE'S SUCH A FUCKING WANNABE SDJHKSJDH. Anyway, back to HRC, see, I've never been there, but it seems fun and right up my ally. As long as they have veggie burgers! :D
I am remodeling my room and it's a lot of fun. WHAT THE FUCK?? HSM LIVE IS COMING HERE? WHAT HAS THE WORLD COME TO??!?! Anyway, I am painting the walls grey and the furniture white and there's black and red and stuff. Should be awesome when it's done.
Sorry for the random outbursts, the television is on next to me and the stupidness of the commercials are haunting me.
OKAY, SO I AM DYING MY HAIR BLONDE FO SHO. Just gotta figure out when where and who. LOL. Okay, gonna go sort that out now because I NEED TO BE BLONDE D:
Later, skaters.

Well, sure he was the guy who gave me merry hell in Geometry, and sure I was suicidal a couple of times because of it, but I'm sure it'll be different in Homeroom! 8D *positive attitude flaps in the wind*
Cattie - summer post!
Congratulations on our 100th post! It was so fun doing this with you, Sarah-poo :) Our summer blog ROCKS C: On that note, I can't wait to get back to our notebook thing! I reminisced over the summer and read some of the old ones...they were so entertaining x3

...The name Saz is starting to REALLY appeal to me xD Could it be Sarah/Mollie can transition to Saz?! SAZ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Heh, that reminds me...
This girl was discussing her marinara pasta and she's all, "Yeah, I hate the red sauce, it's so strong. I like the white, creamy stuff."
[pause]
...Don't well all, baby. Don't we all.

Sarah loves Jim Carrey
I do.
Why?
Because I saw Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and if you were smart, you'd see it too so we can share the love of Jim Carrey.

Sarah's birthday
So my birthday is coming up next month.
I decided to have a birthday party with a few close friends.
I haven't had one in like 8 years.
LOL.
Anyways, I just made invitations today.
I love making invitations.
I want to throw parties more often.
I need CATHERINE'S mailing address if she is to attend *wink wink*
Then I will send them out and such :)
I love sending mail. The world today is full of new ways of communication that barely anyone mails letters anymore.
That is going to change with me. Starting...NOW.
Wooh.
By the way, sorry about the last post... I just finished watching The Bachelorette tonight and my favourite was sent home. She's such an idiot. Not just because he's my favourite (it's the glasses...they always get me...) but no, she chooses this idiot that dresses horridly over a charming, funny, attractive realtor from Philadelphia. I just don't get it. Maybe she likes unappealing possibly gay men? Is this her fetish? Who knows? I'm sorry, but there is just something wrong with that girl.
Anyways, my reality TV obsession (which I am not too pleased with, trust me) is over for now. American Idol is done, and The Bachelorette is coming to a close, not that I have reason to watch the finale now >.>
If you don't believe me that my guy is any better than...ED... look at this. The eyes, the smile, the sexual innuendo...that's the whole package right there!
Anyways, I should go. Listening to 'The Reaping' by Coheed and Cambria on repeat is making me sleepy. Oh, and it's almost midnight :) Night, all!
~Sarrraahhh
P.S. Wow, I used three paragraphs to describe my love for Reid and hate for Jillian. That's...awesome.
P.P.S. I miss you, Catherine! D:

Cattie - not MY issues!
Ha, this time it's not MY issues I'm blogging about! xD I'm always blogging about my issues, aren't I. I really have to change that. Because not only is it incredibly negative, I can imagine how incredibly BORING it must be to read about the same woes over and over!
Anyways, this time I'm writing about a friend's serious issues, and boy, can I tell you, SHE HAS ISSUES. I'm SEROUS. They are SERIOUS ISSUES and I mean it xD
I KNOW she wasn't raised to believe that racist comments were acceptable in an American culture. I KNOW she wasn't raised that way. Apparently her "friends" encourage this kind of behavior. Last time I checked, real friends did not encourage their friend to believe they were racially inferior. Sure, she can say she's just joking around. But since when was it considered mentally healthy to consider yourself racially BENEATH other people?
AMERICA = EQUALITY. Anyways, I was holding something over her head while trying to get her to listen, but then I realized that that wasn't the right way to do it, so I gave her back what I was holding hostage. I THINK that is called extortion xD Hey, I had to do what I had to do, but in the end, I realized that that is not the way to go about it.
Anyways, it's sad that our friendship has to come to an end, but there's simply no being friends with someone who is racist or participates in racist jokes (and therefore is racist) EVEN if she is just "joking around". Because really, if she can joke around about this kind of stuff, doesn't that mean that somewhere, deep down, she actually believes it?
Somewhere along the way, amidst all the "joking" between her friends, she has grown to accept and believe that racist comments were okay, and maybe even that she is racially inferior. I mean, just because you're Vietnamese doesn't mean that you're any less of an "Asian" than someone who is Chinese, Japanese, or Korean.
AND if you are Vietnamese, that's no reason to be ashamed of it. I have many Vietnamese friends, and I know they are proud of their heritage, and I LOVE that. No culture is perfect. No country is perfect. Every single country has issues.
But you don't have to believe in your government to believe in your country. And until she starts to believe in hers, there is no way I would ever disgrace MYself by associating myself with her. I am very proud of who I am, and I will not stand for someone who is not.
Anyways, that's my food for thought for the night. From now on, here's to positive, insightful blogs! :) (That are hopefully shorter than this one!)

Sarah loves KAnation
I was really hoping to see performances of Kris' live version of Hey Jude by the Beatles for the tour and KAnation posted it! I'm so excited :) Kris' Beatlemaniacness is quite adorable.
Why do they AI top 10 never tour here? This is one of the reasons I want to live in California. Nobody good ever comes to Hawaii. Ever.
Well...rarely.
Just got back from Kauai last night. The mayor was on the same plane and he hugged me. Awesomeness beckons for that.
Ahhh, Hey Jude was amazing. Still can't get over that...
I need to perform surgery on my Kris doll. He's getting floppy, and I'm going to fix up his face and make him new clothes. Haha.
Don't worry, schoolmates, I will continue to wear him in my jacket Sophomore year :)
Time to watch more Portland videos!
Thanks to all of the people that donated them to KAnation. :D

Sarah's in Kauai
So, I landed on Kauai yesterday. The flight was literally 15 minutes long.
I listened to about three songs on my iPod and my dad told me to turn it off.
Ha.
I'm at this cheap hotel, which is actually pretty decent. We are only paying 80 bucks a night and we have air con, a fridge, hot water, a television with the same channels as home, and internet in the lobby. I'm not in the lobby now because my dad bought an internet adapter that connects via Verizon Wireless connectivity. If that didn't make sense, I'm sorry, but I'm too lazy to re-read this.
Grease is on right now. I think I am going to see what's on TBS... Not that I have anything wrong with the classics, I just need a little bit more humour. Sexual humour.
My grandparents are on the island as well and we hung at their place yesterday, which had three books from the Twilight saga in the bookshelf. I gagged at the look of it. They left me there for five hours to go driving, which I hate. Luckily, they had fast free internet, so I was on my computer the whole time watching Nostalgia Critic, Ask ThatGuy, 5 Second Movies, etc. Tyler didn't post his video of the week until LATER, so I couldn't watch that. It was awesome, as usual. Watched it this morning.
I apologize for the length of my blog posts lately...and always. I just really like writing xD And by that, I don't mean I like writing sappy poems and mediocre stories, I mean I just like the act of writing, typing, and making lines on paper. It's something that makes me happy, so I am very pleased that we have this blog to rant in.
Twitter is really an amazing thing. It gives me a chance to talk to celebrities I admire and they will see it, even if they don't reply. That just feels really great. I would love to get the chance to say something to Kris Allen and get a reply, but I can't beg for it. He's super busy. Today I posted my American Idols Top 5 drawing and a picture of my Kris and Adam dolls on TwitPic. That'd me amazing if they saw my artwork. I would go absolutely insane.
My parents left me in the hotel room once more to go get something to eat. I already ate a bagel this morning, so I'm all equipped.
OMG. NPH. ON THIS COMMERCIAL. I am secretly in love with Neil Patrick Harris. I don't know much about him, and have only seen his show once, but I think he's delicious. Not to mention, I heard he was gay. So double win :)
I am really excited to go to the salon and get my hair done. Once this happens, I will look more like my mother's child than I do today. Hm.
Oh my God, if I see another commercial where it tells me how much animals need our help, I am going to cry. I hate seeing these commercials. It is clinically depressing, seriously. I almost want to ask to join these foundations for my birthday or something. You save animal's lives and hey, a free t-shirt is usually involved. I don't know what it is, but I really like to define myself in other people's minds through the clothing I wear. I love wearing t-shirts advertising something like a movie, band, or company I like. When people see it, they think, Oh, that girl must really like that certain thing, which, I don't know why, but I love to think about. I especially love wearing my Obama shirt or my LiveLavaLive shirt. Something that proves I'm not afraid to share my interests and show pride in liking something that a lot of people haven't heard of. I don't know.
Gosh, I'm writing so much. I am sorry if you're actually reading all of this o_o
Jeez, man. xD
Well, I can't wait to get home to my cats and rabbits. Then maybe I can start on my Summer Reading project WHICH, I DID START. (ahem, read one chapter in one book :D)
Still counts.
Byee.

Sarah's an uber fan girl today.
Today, I am extra extra fan girly. I don't know why.
I made a doll of Doug Walker, my long term husband.
I hugged it all day.
And watched his videos (Nostalgia Critic)
Tonight, I am reading my favourite articles and quotes by Kris,
while simultaneously staring at my desktop background of him with his rosy cheeks.
Or as my friend calls him, the Chameleon.
Hm. OH WELL.
Here's my favourite excerpt from an article.
I was a huge, huge, huge fan of Michael Jackson. Almost too big of a fan. He’s one of the best ever. I would sit in my room and put on a hat and try to dance in front of the mirror. All this stuff on my own, never in front of people. I was too embarrassed.
Thanks to KA Nation for that one ;D
Kay, bye all.
Sorry for my ranting.
And fangirldom.

Sarah's one true love
Today, I have fallen in love.
Oh yes, with a boy I have never met.
Would you like to know the story?
I'm sure you would. It's quite adorable...
This afternoon, I went on Gaia to chat with my friends and such. I received a profile comment from one of my best friends, Emily saying this:
OMG You would totally love this kid in my summer school class. He's super duper quiet, and he wears glasses and the same jacket everyday. And the only time he talked, he had the stereotypical "gay" voice. I just saw him at the Apple Store and he was kinda rushing to get out of there and accidently knocked down the sign and started blushing furiously while trying to pick it, and then it wouldn't stay, so an employee finally came over to help him, and he was all embarrassed.
If you don't know me, you will not understand this at all. If you really know me, and I mean really know me, I go absolutely insane for guys that embarrass themselves, and show it. It is the weirdest thing, but I always have even as a child. And reading this made my day.
I told Emily to tell this boy, whom she believes is called Alex, that I am in tremendous love with him. I don't care if he is scared or creeped out by that, because it's the truth. I am in love with this boy. And upon reading that, how can you not be?
Another one of my fetishes is glasses. I always pick out the one with the glasses in a group. I just love them. I find them very, very attractive. Maybe it's because I am big on the whole stereotype of guys in glasses being nerdy and smart. It's really pathetic. Even on television, I watch The Bachelorette with my mom and my favourite, Reid, has glasses. Didn't know anything about him, just saw his glasses (and his cute face... :D) and picked him as my favourite. It's a very odd thing, but you tend to get used to it if you're around me long enough.
Well, I'm done confessing my weird love of timid nerd boys. Adios.

AGEISM IS A FORM OF DISCRIMINATION - Cattie
age⋅ism
/ˈeɪdʒɪzəm/ [ey-jiz-uhm]
–noun
1.discrimination against persons of a certain age group.
THIS BOTHERS ME SO MUCH.
Everyone is always like, "Oh my gosh, you're only 14, how do you know this?" or "I can't tell you the story, you're really not old enough" or "How do you know about ____?" They are ALWAYS taking my age into account, it is always on the back of EVERYONE's mind, ESPECIALLY ONLINE.
It is PARTICULARLY insulting because I am pretty experienced in all aspects of life. I've always hated being a kid, and I've done everything possible to get myself out of that age group, including things that are unhealthy and frowned upon and whatnot. But no matter what I do, I will ALWAYS be viewed as a 14-year-old because that's what I am. But that's not ALL I am, you know?
I know I'm different from people my own age, that's why I have so many older friends. But my body is such a cage because that's all anyone ever SEES.
STOP FUCKING MAKING SNAP JUDGMENTS.
THERE IS NO ONE ON THIS EARTH THAT KNOWS ME, THE ACTUAL ME, AS IN MY ACTUAL SOUL OTHER THAN ANJELICA HODGE AND SARAH GARCIA. AND THEY HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN THE ENTIRE THING YET.
Why can some people NOT GET OVER my age? Every time we have a conversation THEY HAVE TO GET INTO AND IT PROHIBITS US FROM TALKING ABOUT SPECIFIC SUBJECTS JUST BECAUSE THEY DO NOT FEEL AS IF I HAVE THE PHYSICAL MATURITY TO HANDLE THIS. WELL, I HAVE THE MENTAL MATURITY, AND LAST TIME I CHECKED THAT WAS PRETTY MUCH ALL YOU NEEDED.
It's okay when people are like, "Wow, you know who Machiavelli is!" or whatever, but at my volunteer job, they were like, "You can take a break! You can...drink coffee!" And everyone laughed because obviously the idea of a 14-year-old drinking coffee is SO RIDICULOUS.
And then at a DINER I ordered a coffee and the waitress LAUGHED! And then looked at my parents to re-order FOR ME! IF I ORDER COFFEE FROM A RESTAURANT, I EXPECT TO NOT GET LAUGHED FOR MY ORDER. People don't laugh at an 18-year-old college student in a porn store buying flavored condoms or Kama Sutra cards, BUT I GET LAUGHED AT FOR ORDERING COFFEE IN A RESTAURANT?
I know that people instinctively think of frivolity when the age group of 12-16 comes into mind, but there are so many of us that are beyond that, and want to be appreciated for their intellects instead of what society says we should be behaving like.
And adults are like, "You know about Iran?" WELL OF COURSE I KNOW ABOUT /IRAN.
The problem is, a lot of people assume things as soon as they look at you, whether it's age/race/sex or whatever.
WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO FOR RESPECT?

Sarah's Ozzy
Yesterday, we got a new kitten.
This summer my father talked about how much he wishes we had a lap cat, which our older cat is not. We still love our 11 year old cat, but we wanted even more cuteness to love, besides our two rabbits.
My brother's co-workers were giving away free kittens, and we fell in love with the little black one with the white nose and feet.
I wanted to name him MJ in honour of Michael Jackson but SOMEBODY didn't like that idea.
We decided on Ozzy, from a rather long story, and I'm too lazy to tell it.
Our cat is, indeed, the prince of darkness.
Today friends Nemi and Anthony are coming over to check the cat out before their vacation for three weeks. Then we're taking him over to their house tomorrow.
OMG, FAMILY GUY IS ON.
Also, Billy Mays died, so what the hell?
Is the world killing off the people we love and sort of took for granted?
I miss them.
I'm tired of seeing all of his commercials. They make me sad.

Cattie and her woes
I HATE WHINING!
I DO!
AND NO ONE WHINES WORSE THAN
MY MOTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm always ranting about my mother.

Haha that is a very random picture I know, but "Dark Fire" came out in the UK 3 days ago and the scheduled release in the US is September or October! Hrr!

Cattie and the V-J Day Kiss
The iconic photograph known as the "V-J Day Kiss" has always been a global phenomenon - and for those of you who didn't know, the sailor and nurse depicted in the photograph have been identified as Glenn McDuffie and Edith Shain.
There's something very adrenaline-inducing about staring at the depicted pair in the V-J Day Kiss. They are not a couple -- he is a simple sailor who was lost in the throes of relief that the terrible war was at an end, and had swooped a nurse into a celebratory kiss. Chances are, if you were a soldier in uniform in Times Square after V-J Day was announced, you were kissing someone too!

Cattie - books and movies
Whoo, I'm expanding my DVD collection! I literally have like, 10 DVDs. But now I have 13! I went to Barnes and Noble yesterday after work and bought Hitch, Underworld, and Moulin Rouge. Very excited!
Tomorrow I have plans to go to Kahala with Kylie, and I will splurge on books! I had a list of books I wanted but I seem to have misplaced it xD
Book List:
Peak
Sequel to The Red Queen's Daughter
Something by Madeline L'Engle
That book I don't remember the name to
The Fire Eternal (if they have it in paperback, which they SHOULD *glares at the Ala Moana branch of B&N, which did not have The Fire Eternal in paperback, despite the fact that it's been out for like a year. And the latest one, Dark Fire, came out in the UK THREE DAYS AGO! And it's probably not going to come out in the US for another three MONTHS!

Sarah had a late night, and dreams haunt her.
I stayed up late last night.
Why, you ask?
Well, I was watching CommunityChannel on YouTube.
Yup.
Until 2:30 am.
I really need a life.
Anyways, post-MJ sadness is still a bit dark for me.
It almost doesn't feel real.
It feels like I'm going to wake up and laugh at how stupid my dreams are.
And how random.
But, alas, the sun will never shine again.
But really, my dreams are weird.
Usually depressing for me, but incredibly hilarious to others.
In the fact that they laugh at the so-called pain I possess through them
For example, last night I had a dream that we went to the airport for our Kauai trip,
and I forgot Kris. Brought Adam, but not Kris.
This is extremely dreadful because it may be just a silly doll, but I love that thing. And the fact of going on a trip without it is heartrending.
How would my life go on?
Earlier in the dream, there was a rebroadcast of the American Idol finale, only it wasn't.
This time they were playing lacrosse in the rain.
Why, you ask? I have absolutely no fucking idea. Perhaps I might have heard something about lacrosse the other day, and it leaked into my mind.
My brain is insane.
Then even EARLIER in the dream, I was in the movie theatre enjoying a movie.
When all of the sudden, these guys in the back start making fun of this guy in a Power Rangers costume.
Why Power Rangers? Beats me. Perhaps it's because there are PowerRanger-esque outfits on Gaia that just came out. Who knows?
But anyways, the guy gets up and I'm thinking, Oh, maybe he is going to go complain, but no. He gets up, gets out a gun, and proceeds to fire away.
My father signals me to go down in my seat to avoid being shot, so I do.
Then this alarm goes off and these guys in colourful suits come out to take him away.
I then forgot what movie I was seeing.
The point to all of this ranting and raving is my dreams... are never normal.
Seriously. Once I had a dream my mother had to amputate her legs, and we kept them!
That's not even the weird part, randomly, these legs would catch fire, and my father would say, "C'mon, kids, time to get the bucket."
I must have had a strange childhood or an imagination above comprehension.
Anyway... in conclusion, if you no longer wish to be fascinated with stories of my dreams, never sleep over at my house.

Sarah's day of sorrow
MICHAEL JACKSON DIED.
This day is absolutely dreadful, and mournful indeed.
I can't even imagine life without the legend.
...oh, and Barbara moved today, also.
Rest in peace, MJ.
As well as Farrah Fawcett.

Sarah is fulfilled.
I am so happy right now.
This morning I was unhappy and suicidal.
I inflicted pain upon myself for reasons that seem so ridiculous now.
Something didn't go right while I was asleep, I guess.
Because I woke up feeling so down about myself.
But that's all done with now.
I've done the things I needed to do.
I contacted Barbara, who is moving on Thursday, and we are seeing a movie or something tomorrow.
I also made her her gift, that I will give to her tomorrow.
We invited CATHERINE and Shannon along, but Shannon is in Yosemite apparently (lawl, oops) and CATHERINE says it's too far D:
It is rather far, though. From my area too.
My mother didn't look too pleased about our chosen location.
But last time I was there, I had fun. Haha.
After tomorrow is over with, I will be worry free for the most part.
I need to do my summer reading project and such,
but that will get done.
The books are short.
Both books were already required in 8th grade.
(Not that I read them.)
Time for a different tone in this entry,
I have recently taken a whole new aspect on life.
I've decided to give up this life full of short choppy hair and tight pants with t-shirt.
I've decided that's just not for me.
I don't want to be that person.
I've just been trying to please people by being that way.
And I hadn't realized it until now.
No, I will look the way I want.
The way that I know is right for me.
I'm going to avoid Hot Topic at all costs,
And appreciate good music.
Not that alternative crap that people are raving about 24/7.
I am going to work on my art again.
The way I always used to.
I'm going to cut my bangs straight across, no longer will they be angled.
I'm only going to straighten my hair for special occasions, and let my natural waves flourish.
I am going to complete at least five books of my choice this year, out of pure pleasure.
I am going to do my homework every night, and have fun doing it.
I am going to study long and hard, even if I don't feel the need to.
I am going to discover who my real friends are, and try my best to stick with them.
I am going to let things go, and let people go that I know I should.
I am going to keep going for my goals.
I am going to be clean and organized by practice.
I will do my best to not act so insane, and be normal for once.
I will stop trying to impress people.
I will take things more seriously.
No longer shall I be considered "the freak" of the group.
I'm not going to give up being outspoken, but tone it down when I know I should.
I am going to respect the fact that I attend a Catholic school and was raised Catholic, even if I disagree with most of their beliefs.
I am going to try my best to respect my teachers, even the ones I hate.
I am going to listen to my parents.
I am going to stop hating people for what they've done in the past and look into the future.
I am going to share my feelings without feeling vulnerable, because I know my real friends will understand.
I'm going to avoid swearing at all costs and be more polite.
I am going to stop correcting people's grammar.
I am going to laugh at the stupid things I've done and embrace them as a learning opportunity.
I will break the reputation of being the stupid one of my peers.
I am going to accept the fact that we're all human. We make mistakes.
I'm not going to be jealous of anybody.
I am going to accept the way I look, even if I hate it.
If I feel the need to change something about myself, I'll really try.
I'm going to stop making accusations.
I will take the time to learn how to play my guitar. It's gathering dust in my bedroom.
I'm going to sing to myself, no matter how horrible I sound.
I am going to be less selfish, even if it takes work.
I will stop asking for so many things and learn to love the things I have now.
I will work for something I really want.
I will accept my brother's choices even if I disagree with them strongly.
I will stop trying to rule people's lives and restrain from bossing people around, even if it's unintentional.
I will work as hard on school work as I do on making my dolls and artwork.
I will enjoy school as much as I enjoy my favourite television shows.
I will not physically abuse my equipment or myself when something goes wrong.
I am going to learn how to just take a deep breath and deal with it.
I am going to care more about my education than Kris Allen.
There are many more things I could list, but these are the main things I need to work on.
It's going to take a while to accomplish this, but I will try as hard as I can.
I don't like the person I am one bit.
And I know I need to change.

Cattie - and her PASSIONS
I LOVE animals :3 Obviously C: I think if I had to choose my favorite animal, it would be a bear. There's something about bears that are so CUTE. Of course, they are vicious and I admire them for that, but come on, have you seen their tails and ears :3 Their ears are so freaking adorable xD They're like...little round nubs. Ehehehe x33 I also love WHALES! If that hasn't been made obvious from the Whale Wars stuff I've posted :3 I am a STRONG believer in if we don't do anything about this, who IS? THIS generation I believe, is the most conscious about things that are happening world-wide. A BIG part of this generation is aware of the genocide in Darfur, the oppressive government in Iran, and a large part of the youth has actually been very supportive of the last presidential election. But anyways, I am a HUUGE supporter of PETA. I can't wait until I grow up, GET OUT OF HERE AND NEVER COME BACK! and start my OWN life somewhere far away, like in Chicago or Brooklyn or somewhere! I will ALWAYS be a huge supporter of ANIMAL and HUMAN rights and I cannot wait to ACTIVELY participate in that through donations, fostering, joining various support groups, etc.
This post was a little Caps Lock heavy, eh? ;)

Cattie - Regina Spektor's new album!
Regina Spektor's new album, "Far" comes out today! Go take a listen and support! :) I have been a huge fan of Regina Spektor ever since I heard her since "The Call" in Prince Caspian, the second of the Narnia Chronicles. Two songs I recommend from her new album are;
"Laughing With"
&
"Eet"
"Laughing With" is a very poignant and bittersweet, and almost has a jaded sound to it. There is a type of bitterness in the melody that reverbrates somewhere deeper then your heart. "Eet" is a very curious song, complimented by her sweet winding voice and talent on the piano.
So, now that I'm done advertising her new album, go and listen to it! :)

Cattie - the Stranger
Talking to my mother is like talking to a stranger on the sidewalk, or talking to your cab driver as he drives you to the airport. You have to constantly fish for a totally useless, insignificant subject that means nothing to either of you and of which you have nothing much to comment on because it is so meaningless.
This is the stranger in my house that I call mum.

Cattie - Tatuk-pul
So when I went to Canada I bought this bear out of this Native American shop or whatnot, he's on a necklace and he's supposed to be a talisman, and for a long time I wore him and called him my Storytelling Bear because stories always popped into my head when I wore him, and his name also totally popped into my head...I mean, I don't have that good of an imagination to come up with the name "Tatuk-pul" by myself. I've taken to wearing my Storytelling Bear again and I already wrote a short story o.o Thanks Tatuk.
(cough) Tatty xD

Cattie - testy
I get TESTY without my Whale Wars.
IT'S TRUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
I got addicted to that show.
Because I love whales. Blah. It drives me crazy that people EAT them. The hell? I've heard that they have 'the consistency of beef with a liver quality'. That, my friends, is quote on quote someone else's words, not my own.
GET ME FUCKING OUT OF HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cattie - AGAIN. LOLOLOLOLOL!
Five seconds ago;
Mum: "Hey, I found the Forever 21 card! Good thing you have me, right? Why can't you ever listen to me and just do what I say the first time so these things don't happen?"
HA. HA. HA. HA. HA. HA HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH! Taylor, you and I both have @!$%# mothers. (Or at least, I think you told me your mother was @!$%#. If you changed your mind, no offense). Sometimes I don't think people APPRECIATE THEIR MOTHERS enuff.

Cattie - Everything
Everything! Is always! My fucking fault! Always! No matter how, no matter what, no matter where or when or why, my mother manages to make everything my fault. For instance, just five seconds ago;
"Ugh! The Forever 21 store credit card fell out of my wallet, and there was $6.20 left on it! I knew we should have just used up the whole thing then and there like I told you! Why can't you ever listen to me?"
WHAT THE FUCK?!!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!

*spews peaches everywhere*
Since when did Spock get added to your list of husbands?
*hems and haws and gnaws out bits of peach from throat*
Warning: graphic content. Oops, too late.
Anyways, Spock, really? Me and Glo-Glo had a looong conversation about Spock and how he is mis-guided. Glo-Glo then proceeded to say, "He is mis-guided? Is he on a journey? Will you guide him?" I then proceeded to tell her how yes, I would guide him on his journey and set him on the straight past so he is husband material for my wife.
...I never thought I would say those words in my life before.
Then, that was before I ever knew Sarah in my life.
...Things rather changed after I met Sarah.
*amused pause*
But really, the barely-an-inch long bangs? That hair, that hair, that hair. Honey, that hair! I itch to take a pair of scissors to it. Or, perhaps not, seeing as I have never shown proficiency with the scissors (did you see my Valentines Day collage in 2nd grade? Alas, it met a sticky doom! Curse the leaky glue stick!)
Well, my mother had officially told me where she stands on buying things on the Internet. Loudly. Enthusiastically. Vehemently. Translation? I am never, ever allowed to buy anything on the internet. Amongst her vast hoard of shitty reasons is "we'll get junk mail!" "the site might not be safe!" "I don't want that credit card number all over the place!" After a while the endless droning numbed my ears and I succumbed to bliss. But last time I checked, many people buy things online. Many as in millions. That's why CompUSA went out of business - because people kept buying their stuff on the internet.
*long-suffering pause*
On that note, I think I played Sims once before when I went over to the house of one of my father's associates. I played Sims and set a woman on fire and then killed her to death. The Grim Reaper even showed up.
Woulda thunk it.

Sarah is posting too much.
Wow, three posts in less than an hour.
That ought to be a new record!
Just wanted to say that I just found out that it's Paul McCartney's birthday today.
So happy birthday, P. McC! :'D
That line never gets old... :)

Sarah loves Glen Hansard
How can you not, right?
Seriously.
The man is Irish.
Dead sexy accent.
Dead sexy voice.
Incredible lyricist.
Plays guitar brilliantly.
Never acted before, but first time around you would think he was a pro.

Catherine, I believe reading that blog post you just made may have ruptured some of my internal organs. Though, I do admit, I was highly entertained the whole way through xD
Ahem. Anyways. Where to begin, where to begin? Today I went to Walmart. Yes, I seem to have a passion for writing about the cheap places I shop. Anyways, we were getting in line to buy the Sims 3 because it was on sale, and this bitch lady was behind us with her kid that was totally stalking me. I saw him every fucking where I turned. Anyways, we waited in line forever, my mom and I, and then this guy opens another register and the bitch has the nerve to go there. My mother kindly asked, "May we go first since we've been waiting here longer?" the bitch just ignored my mother and went anyway. My mother then proceeds to yell, "How rude!" and complain to other people around us that agreed. The lady then completely tells off my mother and calls her a bitch in front of her son. I would have smacked her if she wasn't on the other side of the sale area. My God! The nerve of some people. Jesus Christ. I didn't need that today. I just didn't.
The only good thing that came out of that moment was the fact that I got the Sims 3. After the horrific Walmart encounter, we proceeded to Emily's school to pick her up. Then we wet to KFC and took her home for a doctor's appointment. It was a nice little drive. We listened to 'Fuck You' by Lily Allen on the car speakers, and for my mother, I muted every time she said 'fuck'. It was a fun time.
Jesus, that bitch still has me mad. No one calls my mom anything, especially some stupid whore in a convenience store. Jesus Christ, man! My mother and I gave descriptive details of how we hate people such as herself and it was fun. :)
In other news, my mom finally watched 'Once' with me! She liked it as much as I did. (Well, maybe not as much as I did, considering I loved it more than life itself) When my dad got home we watched one of our favourite classics 'Anne of Green Gables' part one. Eerily enough, this morning I took a quiz on Facebook with the result of Anne. Hmm. Anyways...that was pretty much my day. Might be bloggin' tomorrow...might play the Sims all day...who knows. Going to Em's around 6:30, so plenty of time to waste on the computer :)
Anyways... Kris Allen's birthday is Sunday, which is also Father's day. (C'mon you handsome devil, make babies!) Want to do something special, but not sure what. Ideas?

Cattie - the non-eloquence of shit
HEADDESK! HEADDESK! HEADDESK! HEADDESK! HEADDESK! HEADDESK! ASDFGHJKL; ASDFGHJKL; ASDFGHJKL; ASDFGHJKL; ASDFGHJKL; ASDFGHJKL; QWERTY FUCKER. FUCK MY LIFE! FUCK MY LIFE! FUCK MY LIFE! FUCK IT! FUCK IT FUCK IT FUCK IT FUCK IT FUCK IT LIKE A ...bucket? Nothing rhymes with bucket. That's kind of sad. You know, just like how nothing rhymes with "orange"? When I was a kid I thought "lozenge" kind of rhymed with orange...you know, orange, lozenge? But that's more assonance. I was so desperate to rhyme something with orange. Even though there technically is NOTHING that rhymes with orange. So why was I so desperate to rhyme something with orange? Because...orange shouldn't be alone in this world. Neither should silver. (Nothing rhymes with silver either, if you haven't inferred that already). Poor silver and orange. Why do they have to be the only colors that don't rhyme with shit? Chartreuse...doesn't rhyme with anything either...vamoose? Is that even a word? Turquoise doesn't rhyme with anything either...poor lonely colors...all alone in this infinitesimal world of shit...like in that Sweeney Todd song? About the great big world having a pit and it's filled with people that are filled with shit? Or something like that. Shit is a very interesting word. Never thought of it that way, did you? Shit sounds like...shit. It is the absolute worst word in the world! Nothing will get you feeling like shit like the word shit. I mean, crap, crap is kind of a nice word. There's a really nice crunch to it, kind of like an apple or an ice cube, you know...crap! And damn...well damn is just hot. And fuck is just really fun to say...but shit? Shit is all shitty and alone and full of shit. Yup. Shit is full of shit. This is definitely not one of my more eloquent moments. But what can I say. You can't really write anything eloquent about shit. It's just not one of those THINGS where you can write eloquently about. Shit is shit is shit. And always will be shit. You know, like that 'ashes to ashes, dust to dust' thing? Yup. Shit is like...dust. And ashes. Okay, I don't even make sense anymore. I mean, I was KIND of making sense until now but I probably just lost everyone that was reading this xD Sorry folks!

Sarah has a busy weekend
This weekend will actually be full of stuff to do, which I am super duper happy about considering how boring my summer has been so far. Besides California and going out with friends of course. But this will be a consistent weekend of funnn. Time to pour the details onto you readers of DOOM. (sneezes) Not sure why I typed that. Bless me!
Note: Cattie, I would love to be kidnapped and see The Proposal with you, but unfortunately I have already made plans on Friday to sleepover at Emily's. D: I AM SORRY, MY LOVEEEEERRR.
Okay, anyways. Where was I? Oh, yes. My weekend schedule. First off, on Friday I will go to Emily's house whenever she gets out of summer school...which, actually will be pretty late. Maybe I can be kidnapped if Cattie doesn't get anyone else. Yeah, I'll be your backup plan then. Hahaha. Anyhoo, I'll do the sleepover yambajamba. Stay up late talking about cyber nerd stuff, as usual. Or just juicy gossip that no one else cares about. Maybe we will be up until 4 playing on Gaia again? You never know.
Then I'll most likely stay late on Saturday...not night late, I mean like, afternoon type. Then I will only have a few hours left in the day...then I will go home. Sleep, wake up, and get ready for church (yeah...my mum is making me go on Father's Day) in my new dress, shoes, and a bag my cousin bought me years ago that matches oh so perfectly. Then I will arrive at church in a dress instead of jeans and a T-shirt like I usually do, which will utterly shock my previous teachers. I can see it now, "Sarah? You're wearing a dress? And it's pink? Has salvation arrived in society?" I am not sure why I am going to church if I already deamed that I am no longer Catholic. Then again, my mum is right that I was baptized and will be Confirmed...but still. I don't believe in this stuff. I wish there was an undenominational Christian church I could attend. (sigh)
Anyways, after that horrible hour (Sorry, God), we will most likely go home and change then head off to Bello's (or is it Bellow's...?) beach park to hang with Emily's family once more, as we do every Father's Day. And Mother's Day too. I don't swim at the beach. I hate the beach. But it will be fun to go if my friends are there. Yes... so. Fun weekend.
I just realized, why do majority of my friends have summer school? It's just not fair D: I want to be able to have sleepovers with Emily every day. Oh well, it's not all summer. Haha. But I am leaving next month. Only for two days though...but still D: Oh wellz, it is how it is. I have Adam and Kris to keep me company. Every morning I wake up they have inappropriate positions upon each other...oh well. :)

Cattie - loves tulips!
I LOVE tulips! :) And by that, I mean love love LOVE! I am a weird girl in the sense that I do not like getting flowers >F I have disliked flowers ever since I was a little girl, for a simple reason. Flowers live short, insignificant lives, bringing temporary beauty to the lives of others. They beautify, but they do not live long to enjoy that beauty. Flowers remind me of the fragility of life - and how quickly it can end.
However, tulips are the exception to my dreary, morbid no-flowers rule, simply because they have a unique shape and bright, vibrant colors that remind me of life.
Go life!

Cattie - Someone take me out >:D
I want to go see The Proposal on Friday. It looks hella fun. And then I want to buy a ring from Sedona. So I want to go Wards. Yesssss. AnJie better get back to me on it. Naowww. Or I will kidnap Sarah. And you do NOT want me to kidnap Sarah. No you don't.
Sarah - Further Adventures in Ross
This weekend I made $40 working in the yard and making dolls for my brother's girlfriend, so I decided to blow it off buying clothes. The only problem is if I go to the mall, I go insane and regret buying stuff later because I see something better somewhere else. [Cattie would know this.] It happens every time. So, instead of going to the mall, I asked my mum to take me to Ross, where I can get exactly what I want and more with cheaper prices. Here's what I bought and the prices: (Note: I love talking about how much I saved)
-"Ocean Breeze" purple/white sundress
Yup. :)

Cattie - wants this tattoo
I think El Tango De Roxane is the most romantic song ever.
It will consume you.
Cattie - Musings
The inner mechanisms of my mind are subtly whirring, and I feel as if I am teetering on the edge of a great precipice without knowing what lies below. Of course, the things that lie below a precipice are not often looked upon favorably, but I am forever an optimist. Perhaps the depths below contain a yawning chasm in which I will lose myself into the swirling vortex of death, or perhaps I will fall into a window to Eternity.

Cattie - It's ALWAYS somethin'
So, I was going to meet Sarah yesterday at Kahala to see "Star Trek" - finally! I wake up late, she gets stuck in traffic, my phone doesn't work (so I had to run all the way to the AT&T booth at the opposite side of the mall), we finally bang into each other, race all the way to the theater (did I mention I was in 4 inch sandals?) and skid into the theater two minutes into commercials xD
Dear God, it's ALWAYS something.
(Yesterday it was something else. Lol.)

Cattie - is learning!
I'm learning SIGN LANGUAGE! from a Canadian friend through Webcam :) I am freakishly excited, even though her mic is broken so I can't hear her. Well, since it's sign language, I guess I really don't need to hear her xD I in turn am teaching her simple Japanese + the hiragana/katagana alphabet. It's all part of my Summer Goals, which includes:
- Writing the perfect "About Me"
- History Binder (long story don't ask)
- Volunteering at the hospital
- Going green
- Becoming an animal rights activist by participating in events and making donations
- CHILLING.

Sarah's back home
Yup. I'm home. I came home on Sunday, actually.
Sunday night. Blech.
The plane ride was okay. Besides the annoying bitch behind me that insists on speaking about her dull life stories to her father at a pitch just high enough to break a dam and just loud enough so that the whole plane could hear. I made threatening motions to my father advising we brutally murder her, but I was too tired to do so. You know what annoys me about teenage girls the most? Their constant use of the word "like" between pretty much every gosh damn word. I know they can't control it or whatever, but seriously. They can SHUT THE FUCK UP so we don't have to hear it all the time.
Yesterday, I dyed my hair a dark red hue, but it didn't cover all of my hair, so I think I will redo it again today. I transfered all of my Kris Allen photos, digital photos, and iTunes music to my new laptop today. This took a lot of work. Now I am playing The Sims 2 one last time before I give my old computer to my dad. I am playing with my favourite guy Gabe. He's so adorable xD
So, it's summer! I got my report card. I did fairly decent on the exams. Just one D+. HA. Religion...who needs it? :D I got a B+ on the Biology exam too. WOOH. That was easy haha. :) I wonder what I got wrong though >_<' I'm actually pretty surprised I got C's on some of those. I thought I did horrible this time around. Haha.
Watching Kris videos that I bought off iTunes. I swear, I must have paid well over $200 on him through iTunes. Haha. Oh well. He's worth it :)
This summer I have a lot to do. I plan to make a bunch of dolls. The first one I have to make is Adam Lambert. I HAVE TO. IT'S REQUIRED BY LAW. Kris needs a buddy :) Then I'll make Gokey (who, unfortunately, is my sister's favourite D:). I'll probably make pretty much everyone haha. I have to make Green Day for my brother's girlfriend (it's okay, he's paying me ;D) Uh... Oh, I'm making the Beatles...and...yeah. I have a list somewhere.
Cattie and I are seeing Star Trek because we are awesome like that. I have a feeling we will have a love of Spock after seeing it. His pointy ears are so seductive, no?
I apologize, Catherine, but DEAR JESUS you wrote a lot. I am too lazy to read them all right now. HA. :) I skimmed some of them though, so hopefully I get the gist of it. Bird lady at Claire's? That is awkward. ._.
Hm... not sure what to do with myself other than play the Sims. The Sims 3 is coming out..and it's for PC AND MAC, so I'm really excited. I freaking love the Sims -- don't judge me :D And the new one looks so amazing and the graphics are amazing and (rambles on like a geek)
I bought two CD's while in California -- All We Know Is Falling by Paramore and 21st Century Breakdown by Green Day. My dad is awesome like that. Too bad we couldn't get the Sims 3 though. CURSE YOUR HIGH PRICE!
Well, I'm going on vacation again. This time to Kauai. Hm. Just for a weekend. I really hope that I can go to BayFest this year. It's the same weekend I am gone, but I get back in time for the Sunday night one. Yikes. :/ Depends on who's going to perform there. Last year was 3 Doors Down, and the previous was Three Days Grace. They sure enjoy having performers that start with three.

Cattie - "Whale Wars"
So, last night, I was watching Whale Wars on Animal Planet (it was the only thing on at 2am) and I was getting into it >D It's about the Sea Shepherds, a United Nations org. that are on the boat Steve Irwin (yess!) and hunting down whaling boats, i.e the evil Yushin Maru.
Whale poaching goes against the charter of the UN, which protects the whales in a certain sphere, but the Japanese (yes, since the boat is called Yushin Maru) believe that they're still allowed to poach a certain number. The whales are shot with harpoons, dragged aboard the ship, and canned. Yes. Canned right then and there and shipped back to Japan. And yes, they die slow, agonizing deaths. Whales, of course, are amazingly trusting, gentle creatures.
It's sad, but the United Nations is a joke. It is! No one wants to do anything when it comes to internationalism because it's such dangerous territory. While I was watching it, I felt mixed feelings of, "Gosh, we Americans always have to nose our way into everything", and "This is a crime against nature and we should all get involved."
What do you think?

Cattie - is a failure
Well, okay, not really. Here are my exam grades as follows.
Choir: A (Yeah, she gave us a Choir exam, and it was a written one, too)
English: A
Spanish: B+ (Sorry Mollie)
History: A
Biology: B+ (Sorry Ms. Flynn)
Religion: B+
Geometry: D+
Yeah, and my Quarter 4 grade for Geometry was a C, and my overall year score for Geometry was a C. AT LEAST I'M FUCKING CONSISTENT, RIGHT? HA. Anyways.
Asian parents - not fun! Not fun at all. Taylor Higuchi, you know what I am talking about. For once, I am one with the whole mentality that Asian parents are...well, you know. Worse than white parents. I know that's racist, and it's not always true. Parenting ability is not dependent on race. But for once, can I please wallow in my sorrow without people trying to reason with me? I mean, can I please blame my horrible mother on something shallow, ridiculous, and insignificant...for once? I don't want to be the rational person right at this very moment, so someone else can be the rational one...like, uh, I dunno, Archduke Ferdinand? He's some really random guy in History.
History was always my best subject, probably always will be, but was more so because of Mrs. Keanui's teaching style. She has a very straightforward, direct, let's-get-shit-DONE mentality that really made me enjoy History this year. So I enjoyed finishing the term with an A overall and an A on the exam. I am sorry that I failed you, Ms. Flynn. I really tried as hard as I could...I think. I guess I could have tried harder. Sorry too, Mrs. Miller, I totally did not memorize the...um, sexual genitals, so I failed on that portion. But really, you wanted us to study that?! You totally knew I was going to skim on that part, didn't you xD Let's see, what else did I fail? Er, oh, Spanish, yeah, kind of disappointing since Mollie and Shannon are always like, "THAT CLASS IS EASY!" but I got a B+ on the last one too, so xD
Hm, okay, I think I'm done. But no, I don't want to be done, this blog is...weird. I guess it's what happens when you have Internet access in the heat of the moment. I've never posted a blog truer than this. It's not a blog directed at someone, it's just what happens...It's the closest I've ever shown to myself online, I think...at least no one much is going to read it...except for maybe, two people?...but that's good...I'm abusing the whole three dots method...I really don't want to publish this blog but WHAT ARE BLOGS FOR? BE BRAVE, CATTIE. JUST SAY WHAT YOU ARE FEELING AND TELL SOMEONE FOR ONCE IN YOUR LIFE...ONCE!
I feel like...
- Buying an internal combustion engine anddd floating away to Neverland in it and then killing myself five thousand times over o__o
How's that for honesty, Chris fucking Crocker xD

Cattie - Mall Day
I was in B&N earlier today, and I was talking to my friends. The older woman in front of me turns around and remarks, "Excuse me, you're in my personal space, and you're talking quite loudly." The way I see it, there are three different types of people in the world. The type who'd apologize (me), the type who'd stay silent but smile with amusement (Desire), and the type who'd mutter, "We're just trying to have a fucking conversation!" (AnJie)
People I met while wandering around Ala Moana:
- Mrs. O'Kelly (in Claire's - awkward)
- Mrs. Lockwood (in Sears)
- Gloria, Kimmi, and Kyrie
- Brittany (in B&N - picking up Shakespheare's "Twelfth Night"? Wtf?)
- Adrian Fung (B&N again)
I also meet AnJie's friend Desire, who I've heard a lot about and like. Came home to see Ned's Declassified was on - I thought they cancelled that show?! Watching it brought back so many memories it was insane.
:D

I actually didn't watch the VERY ending...
...and when I SAW the very ending which I totally missed the first two times around, I was like, um, holy fuck, that's a little creepy.
Haha.
Do yourself a favor, and watch only till 2:25.
