My throat is still sore from all the screaming I did at Nicole's graduation party xD I ran into: Taylor, Christy, Kami (well, I was sitting on their table, so no duh) Adrian Fung (who I hadn't met before, so I finally got to formally introduce myself), Speech buddy!, J.C, Kristen, Meddie (aw, so short! xD) anddd Jazmine! Needless to say, they were all smokin'/adorable in their own ways. But ow, my throat is ripped up!

Today:
1. Hit the pool
2. See RENT (check! La Vie Boheme!)
3. See the Da Vinci Code (it's on at 9 tonight!)
4. See The Nightmare Before Christmas (Tim Burton, ♥)
5. Figure out how to change the name of my Picture Album on Facebook, lol. Technologically impaired!
6. FIND SOMEONE TO WATCH STAR TREK WITH ME! Jeez guys, can't you oblige me this once?! xD

Well, I'm in San Diego! It's really cold.
My uncle's house doesn't have wireless internet, so I had to wait until we got to a hotel...today!
My dad surprised me on Friday by giving me my computer early! So we watched 'Edward Scissorhands' on the five hour plane ride.

Today, there was another surprise inside of my previous surprise. I mentioned the Fleetwood Mac concert before. Well, my father insisted we forget about it. But today I found the tickets hiding in my laptop when I got out of the shower! SCORE.
He paid the highest amount and bought them months ago.
All four of us are going! He spent $600. Lawl.

Well, I am off to go to the most amazing night of my life. I'll update on my wonderful vacation more often haha...

LMFAO, I find it amusing that Sarah and I both decided to post blogs right before our Maths exams because we both appear to agree that you can't study for Maths xD Lol. Too funny. Technically I'm studying for Maths but I'm waiting for my tutor to get online if she gets online at all :P She is bloody brilliant, I say. I mean, she crammed a chapter of Trigonometry in me in one night! xP

Sarah - Exams

Neither Cattie or I have been posting much because we have exams this week! I am posting instead of studying because the only exam I have tomorrow is Algebra...and you don't really study for that xD

Anyway, I'm leaving tomorrow! But I am going to bring my laptop, so it's all G. I can't wait to be posting while in California! :D It will be so awesome. I heart California, it is my home. I wish we could see Fleetwood Mac, but I don't think we will. :( I have always wanted to see Stevie Nicks live. But that is just a fantasy I suppose. Oh well.

I found out that I got a C- in History! That means I get a new computer, BABAY! It's funny. I got a ride from my dad home today and he was telling me that this summer I should try and figure out what was grouping me with the people that get D's and hate life, etc. He said that maybe next year I can work on it and get my laptop. But I got home, checked Edline, and there it is! I feel so accomplished (yes, straight C's and one B-, I'm amazing! xD). But yeah, so I will totally relax and be all happy and not worry this summer. Hopefully... hm...

So many Kris Allen photos that I can't save because I already put my 756 photos of him that I have saved on my computer onto a disc so I can transfer them to my new computer ;_;

I am home alone in the rain. The windows and doors are closed. This means that I am singing really loud right now. I am joyous. When I am joyous, I sing. xD DON'T JUDGE ME!! :K

I hope my school does Sweeney Todd next year for their musical. I sooooo want to be in that. I wouldn't care who I was, if not ensemble. Just to be in Sweeney Todd...oh, dream come true. HAHA. I'd love to be Toby. Or Mrs. Lovett. I love Mrs. Lovett. LOL. But I'd never get the part of the leading lady xD Haha. That's for the GOOD people.

Okay, time to stop twitching shiftily.

Everyone knows me as the chick who likes the badass rocking music with hot as hell guitar riffs and lyrics that are pretty much as dirty as you can get - yeah, I will always love the rock scene. Songs like "Crazy" and "Cryin'" from Aerosmith, "Back in Black" from AC/DC, and "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns 'N Roses is part of the reason I'm who I am. Yet weirdly enough, one of my secret song-lovers is Rod Stewart.

AI. HE'S SO FRIGGIN'...BADASS! Yet in a somehow mellow-er way, with a Celtic vibe. If that's not weird, I don't know what is xD But he was on American Idol last night, and I was flippin' out falling to my knees and clasping my hands (oh come on, you guys all know that I'm so friggin' dramatic, it makes people think I am, to quote Kylie, "nuts" ;-; ) Like...I think it's his hair...or his like, expression, or...yeah, it's definitely the hair xD

I just love the song he sang on American Idol for the finale. "Maggie" is so brilliant, and it has that Celtic-vibe, I don't know if it's a sitar that's being strummed or what not, but it's frickin' hot. I love how the entire song, the lyrics are, "Maggie, I wish I'd never seen your face!" and one of the last lines is "Maggie, I couldn't leave you if I tried."

Okay. Enough Roddie ranting.

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRR!! HERE IS AN ACTUAL RANT! BECAUSE YOU KNOW, THE BLOG IS CALLED "THE RANTING AND RAVING BLOG" AND NO ONE HAS REALLY RANTED, ONLY RAVED [PARTICULARLY ABOUT KRIS ALLEN] xD OH-KAY! Ranting time! Well, no, not really. Ha. Fooled ya. You really thought I was going to rant about something personal. Didn't you?????? But you can still tell that I'm super angry because I NEVER use more than one punctuation point...except for when I use "..." like I just did xD I've always thought more than one punctuation point was disgusting and obnoxious. Maybe I AM OCD! But seriously, if you have a question, do you HAVE to have a million question marks after it?????????? And if you are excited, MUST you have twenty exclamation points!!!!!!!!!!!! Yikes. English writing has gone down the drain. I think I'm going to rant about NOT ranting xD Yes, only I could have come up with something as unusual as that! Well actually, I can't rant anymore because Megan is on the phone with me xD She said that she had to print out a 8x10" picture of me for her photography class because her teacher said that was the best one and then she had to blew it up and print it out. Ha, she called me and was like, "Catherine...I have to tell you this really creeper stalker thing..." and then she proceeded to tell me about how she had to print the picture out xD That's not stalkerish! I think that's flattering that she likes the picture! (In case you were wondering, the picture in question is my current Facebook default...the one where I'm in the blue dress silhouetted against the window). Okay, now I have to concentrate on Megan because I am not smart enough to talk and type about two different things at the same time. Toodles!

I just realized that I don't get personal at all in any of these blogs. It's usually just me offering a tidbit into the most random subject that I cast about for and landed on through purest chance. I am probably one of the most annoyingly complex people in the world. I pretty much hate it, and admire people who are sure of who they are, what they believe in, etc. I'm still in formative-mode, I guess. Well, at least I found out I'm a liberal, thanks to Sarah and her Obama ways xD Sarah has trumped Shannon and Eleanor with their Republican ways, heh.

Sarah - Black Thumbnail

Okay, so I, being as obsessively observant as any insane fan would, noticed that Kris has been going everywhere with his right thumb painted black. Well, I read this adorable Kradam story that I simply must share with you. Thanks KAnation :D

Did you notice Kris had his thumbnail repainted? Can you guess who painted it? That's right! Adam Lambert! Kris performed during Rock week with a painted thumbnail, and his homecoming footage captured the chipped polish. Tuesday night, however, Kris performed one of the best performances of the night (and the season, might I add) with a freshly painted thumbnail.

According to Megan Malone, Adam painted Kris's thumbnail after the homecoming visits and removed the polish from one of his own nails, stating "If you can carry around a piece of me, man; I can do the same for you." Malone said, "The Allens believe Kris wears the black fingernail polish in support of Adam because he wanted Adam in the finale. Also, Kris wanted to dispel any rumors claiming the two weren’t great friends." Kris and Adam were roommates in the Idol Mansion throughout their stay.

EEH. :D That's so cute. Haha. Wearing a black painted thumb nail to support Kris! :)

Cattie - Krissy vs Glam

Heh, we're down to the final stretch! Wicked. School's almost over, too - funny how that coincided. It seems like all things are slowly but surely coming to an end. Endings are good, especially for Freshman year. To quote Dickens..."It was the best of times, it was the worst of times..." xD Heh. Gotta love that guy. I'm glad that it's a showdown between Krissy and Glam. Gokey was obviously not in their league, which most people could tell xD It's sure to be an explosive finale, both on AI and Freshman year. I always close with a bang anyways ;)

Sarah is a happy camper

Just finished watching American Idol.
I managed to watch it even though I was babysitting, with permission from the parents, of course. I was not shocked, just overwhelmed with joy that I almost, ALMOST...cried xD I didn't. Lawl. Had my doll by my side. Adam was all cocky like a little hobo bitch again. But what can ya do? You got talent, it's hard to be humble. Not everyone can be as humble as my Kris :) Danny...I knew he would go home. It was just nice to have reassurance. Danny's good and all, (well, besides DREAM ON! Which reminds me of a Gokey poster I saw in a crowd that said "SCREAM ON! Danny Gokey!"...that made me lawl..) but he was obviously the weakest of the group.
Kris once again, for the third week in a row, got more votes than Adam. This time it was over 1 million more! KAnation is doing an awesome job at rallying voters such as myself. I cannot wait for the finale. I'll wear my Kris Allen shirt under all my clothes at school and vote for the whole (possibly four hours?) voting time. WE CAN DO IT!
C'mon everyone! Get our "adorable sexy" tender dawg Kris Allen to claim the title as AMERICAN IDOL. We can doooo it! :'D
If not, he will still sell an amazing CD fer sure. :)

Hff, Sarah's getting me into American Idol! Then again, it's only Top 3, so it takes less of an effort to get into it xD Krissy sang Apologize! It was pretty well suited for his voice, I think. At least, I liked it! (I know Sarah did too - hehe). GLAMBERT DID "CRYIN'"?! Shit, son! :) His 'interpretation' of it was different from Aerosmith, but at least he hit every single pitch - he's got pipes! I have to stop talking about this before I ruin who goes home to Sarah xD

Sarah - Happy Mother's Day!

Okay, so all you old, new, and/or underaged mothers out there, happy Mother's day! Hope you had a fantabulous time...even though it's only 10 a.m.

My mum is still sleeping considering she had to wake up at 5 to take my father to the airport and considering the curtains are closed making the room appear very dark. We have to leave in two hours...so I hope she wakes up soon. I should take a bath in that huge-ass bath tub before she wakes up. Hmm...

In other news, I made new albums on Facebook! I may take new photos today for Mother's day when I am at Emily's house. I still have homework to do, unfortunately. Perhaps I can finish it before leaving. We must be there by 2. If not, I don't want to stay long. I have a lot to do. Well, actually, I only have Religion, which is a lot. Hmm. Oh well.

Sarah is at a hotel

So, I'm at a hotel right now for my dad's birthday and mothers day. It's not really vacation because we live here, but it's fun because everyone thinks we are tourists. In fact, someone asked us if we needed a map. Haha.

I enjoy my time here by simply listening to the Beatles all day and downing room service, while taking advantage of the paid Wi-Fi connectivity. Cattie and I had some good times on Friday...oh, yes we did. Our Yellow Submarine was classic.

Cattie - Procrastination

I really don't want to write my 3-5 page long paper on genocide xD It's not the most cheerful of topics. Also because I don't have the brain power to comprehend genocide. I don't understand how someone can be so full of hate, they are willing to destroy millions of people not based on an individuals, but by being. Okay, that makes no sense. What I'm trying to say is, yes, you can hate people. You can hate tons of people. But you can't hate specifically, i.e, blonde people, just because they are blonde. I mean, you can't hate them just because they are blonde o_o I mean, they don't even choose to be blonde! That's why genocide makes absolutely no sense to me. I get how Hitler appealed to the anti-Semitic tradition to use the Jews as scapegoats for World War I, but for crying out loud here, there's genocide in the modern day world today. Everyone is saying how the United Nations is a joke because they can't interfere in the genocide in Darfur and the genocide in Rwanda. But we can't get involved - it's not like we want to get in another war or something. I mean, isn't that how the Iraq war got started -- by interfering?
