Cattie - English woes

o_o I hate that my dad sucks at speaking English.

I tell him to go to Longs to buy me a poster board.

Just a nice poster board. A nice, big, brightly-colored poster board.

First, he does not understand the concept of it being big.

"I found a stack of paper! It says it's 8 by 10!"
Right. That's definitely bigger than the standard!
Oh wait. No it's not! Because 8 BY 10 *IS* THE STANDARD xD

Then he does not realize it needs to be colorful.
"Yesss, I finally found it! But...it's white."
That's a whole hecka lotta color right there!

Then he does not understand that I need one, and I mean ONE piece.
"...I found some! 250 sheets!"
This one doesn't need a sarcastic comment, it's self-explanatory.
