Today, I have fallen in love.
Oh yes, with a boy I have never met.
Would you like to know the story?
I'm sure you would. It's quite adorable...
This afternoon, I went on Gaia to chat with my friends and such. I received a profile comment from one of my best friends, Emily saying this:
OMG You would totally love this kid in my summer school class. He's super duper quiet, and he wears glasses and the same jacket everyday. And the only time he talked, he had the stereotypical "gay" voice. I just saw him at the Apple Store and he was kinda rushing to get out of there and accidently knocked down the sign and started blushing furiously while trying to pick it, and then it wouldn't stay, so an employee finally came over to help him, and he was all embarrassed.
If you don't know me, you will not understand this at all. If you really know me, and I mean really know me, I go absolutely insane for guys that embarrass themselves, and show it. It is the weirdest thing, but I always have even as a child. And reading this made my day.
I told Emily to tell this boy, whom she believes is called Alex, that I am in tremendous love with him. I don't care if he is scared or creeped out by that, because it's the truth. I am in love with this boy. And upon reading that, how can you not be?
Another one of my fetishes is glasses. I always pick out the one with the glasses in a group. I just love them. I find them very, very attractive. Maybe it's because I am big on the whole stereotype of guys in glasses being nerdy and smart. It's really pathetic. Even on television, I watch The Bachelorette with my mom and my favourite, Reid, has glasses. Didn't know anything about him, just saw his glasses (and his cute face... :D) and picked him as my favourite. It's a very odd thing, but you tend to get used to it if you're around me long enough.
Well, I'm done confessing my weird love of timid nerd boys. Adios.

AGEISM IS A FORM OF DISCRIMINATION - Cattie
age⋅ism
/ˈeɪdʒɪzəm/ [ey-jiz-uhm]
–noun
1.discrimination against persons of a certain age group.
THIS BOTHERS ME SO MUCH.
Everyone is always like, "Oh my gosh, you're only 14, how do you know this?" or "I can't tell you the story, you're really not old enough" or "How do you know about ____?" They are ALWAYS taking my age into account, it is always on the back of EVERYONE's mind, ESPECIALLY ONLINE.
It is PARTICULARLY insulting because I am pretty experienced in all aspects of life. I've always hated being a kid, and I've done everything possible to get myself out of that age group, including things that are unhealthy and frowned upon and whatnot. But no matter what I do, I will ALWAYS be viewed as a 14-year-old because that's what I am. But that's not ALL I am, you know?
I know I'm different from people my own age, that's why I have so many older friends. But my body is such a cage because that's all anyone ever SEES.
STOP FUCKING MAKING SNAP JUDGMENTS.
THERE IS NO ONE ON THIS EARTH THAT KNOWS ME, THE ACTUAL ME, AS IN MY ACTUAL SOUL OTHER THAN ANJELICA HODGE AND SARAH GARCIA. AND THEY HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN THE ENTIRE THING YET.
Why can some people NOT GET OVER my age? Every time we have a conversation THEY HAVE TO GET INTO AND IT PROHIBITS US FROM TALKING ABOUT SPECIFIC SUBJECTS JUST BECAUSE THEY DO NOT FEEL AS IF I HAVE THE PHYSICAL MATURITY TO HANDLE THIS. WELL, I HAVE THE MENTAL MATURITY, AND LAST TIME I CHECKED THAT WAS PRETTY MUCH ALL YOU NEEDED.
It's okay when people are like, "Wow, you know who Machiavelli is!" or whatever, but at my volunteer job, they were like, "You can take a break! You can...drink coffee!" And everyone laughed because obviously the idea of a 14-year-old drinking coffee is SO RIDICULOUS.
And then at a DINER I ordered a coffee and the waitress LAUGHED! And then looked at my parents to re-order FOR ME! IF I ORDER COFFEE FROM A RESTAURANT, I EXPECT TO NOT GET LAUGHED FOR MY ORDER. People don't laugh at an 18-year-old college student in a porn store buying flavored condoms or Kama Sutra cards, BUT I GET LAUGHED AT FOR ORDERING COFFEE IN A RESTAURANT?
I know that people instinctively think of frivolity when the age group of 12-16 comes into mind, but there are so many of us that are beyond that, and want to be appreciated for their intellects instead of what society says we should be behaving like.
And adults are like, "You know about Iran?" WELL OF COURSE I KNOW ABOUT /IRAN.
The problem is, a lot of people assume things as soon as they look at you, whether it's age/race/sex or whatever.
WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO FOR RESPECT?

Sarah's Ozzy
Yesterday, we got a new kitten.
This summer my father talked about how much he wishes we had a lap cat, which our older cat is not. We still love our 11 year old cat, but we wanted even more cuteness to love, besides our two rabbits.
My brother's co-workers were giving away free kittens, and we fell in love with the little black one with the white nose and feet.
I wanted to name him MJ in honour of Michael Jackson but SOMEBODY didn't like that idea.
We decided on Ozzy, from a rather long story, and I'm too lazy to tell it.
Our cat is, indeed, the prince of darkness.
Today friends Nemi and Anthony are coming over to check the cat out before their vacation for three weeks. Then we're taking him over to their house tomorrow.
OMG, FAMILY GUY IS ON.
Also, Billy Mays died, so what the hell?
Is the world killing off the people we love and sort of took for granted?
I miss them.
I'm tired of seeing all of his commercials. They make me sad.
